This is a tremendous opportunity to become the leader of the Princethorpe Foundation, a family of schools united by a shared ethos and commitment to excellence, which educates over 1,400 pupils and has a combined turnover of circa £20m.
Reporting to the Chair of Trustees and leading the Foundation Executive Committee, the CEO and Principal will shape and deliver a compelling vision for the future, ensuring that our schools remain at the forefront of educational provision in the region.
The successful candidate will have a strong background and track record in educational leadership and proven business acumen. They will understand and relish the challenge of facilitating and nurturing effective communication, ensuring collaboration and a strategic approach between the Foundation’s constituent parts, whilst also recognising and celebrating each school’s individual and distinct character, heritage and autonomy.
The successful candidate will be visible and approachable, with the stature to engage confidently with pupils, parents, staff, trustees, alumni and donors.
They will champion academic excellence, pastoral care and co-curricular enrichment, while driving innovation, efficiencies and sustainability across all aspects of the Foundation’s work. A deep understanding of safeguarding, governance and compliance is essential, as is the ability to manage risk and lead change effectively.
We seek a person of integrity and energy, with outstanding communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. They will be a strategic thinker and a collaborative team builder, able to recruit and develop high-performing leaders and foster a culture of ambition and accountability. A deep understanding of and commitment to the Catholic and Christian ethos of our schools is essential, alongside a genuine passion for educating young people and preparing them for life in the 21st century.
